27t h _ 29th May Wild Wood Festival

Royal Botanic Gardens Kew at Wakehurst Place, Ardingly, Nr Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Three day event over the late Spring Bank Holiday celebrating traditional crafts. Our display theme will be woodland tools. Ray Betts and Ralph Griffin have already volunteered, we need more help to cover the three days. Contact Mike Rogers


9th - 11th June Garden Show – Stansted Park – Rowlands Castle, Hampshire.

This show is reckoned to be the best Garden Show in the South of England apart from Hampton Court and Chelsea. Our display will be garden tools. Ray Betts has already volunteered; we need more help to cover the three days. Contact Mike Rogers


19th - 20th August South Downs Show and Hampshire Wood Fair –Elizabeth Country Park, Nr Petersfield, Hampshire.

Setting with Butser Hill as a backdrop close to A3 and South Downs Way. The show will have arena events and demonstrations of crafts. Our display will be woodland tools. Ray Betts has already volunteered, we need more help. Contact Mike Rogers


24th - 28th August Great Dorset Steam Fair – Tarrant Hinton, Blandford Forum Dorset.

A variety of exhibitions and displays including an auto jumble. Ralph’s display is usually woodworking and woodland tools. If you are interested in helping Contact Ralph Griffin.


15th - 17th September Bentley Woodfair – Nr Ringmer, East Sussex.

The wood fair is a celebration of woodlands, timber, trees, woodcrafts etc. Ralph’s display will contain woodland tools. If you are interested in helping contact Ralph Griffin.


1st & 2nd October Apple Affair – West Dean Gardens , Nr Chichester, West Sussex.

The setting is in the gardens of West Dean House and the theme as the title suggests: apples. Our display will be garden tools, kitchenalia and apple peelers. Last year we teamed up with members of the International Guild of Knot Tyers, who demonstrated the rope machine and knots.
