It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Brian Read died of the coronavirus on Easter Sunday. Our thoughts are with his wife Bernice and his family at this difficult time. 

Brian was a founder member of TATHS and was one of our Vice Presidents.  He edited the Newsletter for many years, as well as serving on the Committee and he researched and co-authored our publication on "Natural Sharpening Stones and Hones". Brian brought a breadth of interests to TATHS which was stimulating and occasionally challenging. He was a good friend to many of us and we shall miss him very much.
